Samson Hosts Workshop for Aspiring Podcasters at B&H NYC Superstore

Samson teamed up with B&H Photo and Video to host a free podcasting workshop and Q&A session featuring some of today’s top podcasting experts. Held on August 2, 2018, the event was livestreamed from the B&H Event Space at the company’s retail headquarters in New York City. B&H is the largest non-chain photo and video equipment store in the United States.

The 2-hour workshop entitled “Connect, Communicate & Create: Starting Your Podcast”, focused on helping aspiring podcasters learn about all the aspects of starting and producing their own podcast. Some of the topics that were discussed included microphone selection, recording gear, show production, distribution and much more.

Presenters included Harry Duren, host of Podcast Junkies, Greg Young, co-host of the Bowery Boys podcast, and Vernon Ross, best-selling author, podcaster, storyteller and consultant. Sean Meagher, Director of Marketing for Samson, gave a presentation on products designed to improve audio for podcast production.
