Samson has expanded its popular Expedition Series Rechargeable Portable PA line with three new systems that offer all of the great features you’d expect, plus new impressive power, transport and wireless microphone capabilities, at CES 2019 (Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas: the Expedition XP208w, XP310w and XP312w. The new systems are perfect for DJs, musicians and performers of all types looking for a way to deliver huge sound and unrestrained performance to their audiences.

Expedition XP208w
The XP208w operates for up to 20 hours continuously via its built-in rechargeable battery. Its lightweight amplifier delivers 200 watts of power to an 8″ 2-way speaker system, weighing just under 24 pounds. The XP208w includes a Samson XPD2 Handheld Digital USB Wireless System. Two USB wireless ports allow users to integrate a second XPD Series wireless system (sold separately) for multi-performer vocal and speech applications. Plus, a guitar input and onboard reverb make this the perfect solution for busking performers.

Expedition XP310w
The XP310w operates for up to 12 hours continuously via its built-in rechargeable lithium ion battery. Its lightweight Class D amplifier delivers 300 watts of power to a 2-way speaker system with a 10” woofer and 1” tweeter, weighing only 27.5 pounds. The XP310w is capable of running up to three wireless systems simultaneously and includes a single frequency-agile UHF handheld wireless system that offers up to 300’ of operation. An extra UHF wireless receiver slot is included for adding a second UHF system (sold separately), while the USB wireless port allows users to also integrate an XPD Series USB Digital Wireless System (sold separately).

Expedition XP312w
The XP312w operates for up to 12 hours continuously via its built-in rechargeable lithium ion battery. Its lightweight Class D amplifier delivers 300 watts of power to a 2-way speaker system with a 12” woofer and 1” tweeter, weighing only 34 pounds. The XP312w is capable of running up to three wireless systems simultaneously and includes a single frequency-agile UHF handheld wireless system that offers up to 300 feet of operation. An extra wireless receiver slot is included for adding a second UHF system (sold separately), while the USB wireless port allows users to also integrate an XPD Series USB Digital Wireless System (sold separately).

Rugged and Mobile
Each system is housed in a rugged polypropylene enclosure with a steel grille and features a locking telescoping handle and smooth rolling wheels that ensures smooth mobility. A 1 3/8″ speaker stand receptacle allows each system to be mounted using any standard speaker stand.

Mix on the Go
Each system is equipped with a 4-channel mixer that includes XLR and 1/4″ inputs for connecting microphones and line level devices. The XP310w and XP312w also include an 1/8” input for connecting MP3 players and mobile devices. The speaker can also stream music wirelessly from any Bluetooth device. A variable reverb control adds depth, and a voiceover ducker automatically lowers the music when speaking or singing into a microphone (XLR or wireless inputs). In addition, a master 2-band EQ is provided to adjust the tonal characteristics of each system, as well as a line output to daisy-chain additional speakers.
